Services

I work with individuals from adolescence through adulthood who may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, grief, family conflict, emotional overwhelm, or major life transitions.

Therapy can offer a space to slow down, better understand what you are experiencing, and explore patterns that may feel difficult to change. Our work may include looking at how past experiences, relationships, family dynamics, culture, and current stressors continue to shape the way you feel, cope, and connect with others.

My approach is collaborative and individualized, with room for both deeper exploration and practical tools depending on what feels most useful to you.

Individual Therapy

Couples often come to therapy because they feel caught in patterns that are difficult to shift on their own. You may find yourselves having the same argument repeatedly, feeling disconnected, struggling with trust or intimacy, or navigating a major transition together.

My approach is relational and attachment-informed. Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, we work to understand the cycle between you, the needs and vulnerabilities underneath conflict, and the ways each partner may be trying to protect themselves or the relationship.

I also provide affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ and queer couples, with space to explore the ways identity, family, culture, and social context can shape relationships.

Couples Therapy

Trauma can continue to influence how we feel, relate to others, and experience safety long after difficult events have passed. It may show up as anxiety, emotional numbness, hypervigilance, shame, difficulty trusting others, relationship struggles, or patterns of coping that once felt necessary but no longer feel helpful.

Trauma work is paced carefully and collaboratively. The goal is not to rush into painful material, but to build enough safety and stability to process experiences in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.

Trauma-Focused Therapy

Immigration and cross-cultural experiences can affect identity, belonging, family relationships, language, and the way we understand ourselves.

I have extensive experience working with immigrant and multicultural communities and understand that emotional distress does not exist separately from cultural and social context. Therapy may include exploration of migration, family expectations, intergenerational differences, discrimination, language, identity, and the experience of navigating more than one culture.

These experiences are approached with curiosity and respect, rather than treated as problems to be corrected.
